Media Without Choice is a mock web page for the Polish Media Without Choice movement, exploring how visual design can communicate protest and urgency.
The project uses a minimal color palette paired with bold, high-impact typography to reflect the movements previous visual language. Through layout and typographic hierarchy, the design translates a political message into a clear, emotionally charged digital experience.
Starting this project I wanted to find a visual language that was similar to the one used during the protests. I looked at multiple typographic books and researched the movement itself heavily to gage a visual direction.
Next I began wire framing on paper to get an idea of how I wanted this mock site to look.
I believed that incorporating the Polish language was very important as well. So I created a scrolling gif of the Polish to English translation in After Effects to add to the home page of my site.
